Priscilla is a systems-focused education strategist, generalist and collaborator recognized in many circles for her broad knowledge in public education, and her business acumen and forward-thinking leadership. Priscilla’s experience spans across the K-12 public education sector – from the classroom, school, district, regional, state and national levels. Her unique set of expertise and perspectives on organizational leadership and capacity-building, culture, teaching + learning, equity and the power of the community voice fuels her passion to catalyze education innovation particularly in diverse communities + populations that are often marginalized, underrepresented and underserved.

George Hancock
Senior Managing Director
George Hancock is a well-respected education professional who has dedicated his career to improving education outcomes for students in need. He is joining the ImaginED team after a successful tenure as the Executive Director of the SERVE Center and as the Director of the National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE) in Greensboro, North Carolina.
George brings a wealth of experience and an extensive background in management practices with a focus on technical assistance, policy development, and inter-organizational collaboration. He began his career as a teacher and principal before moving on to serve as a federal programs administrator and State Coordinator for School Improvement Grants (SIG) at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for adventure. He loves to travel, attend sporting and music events, and explore the great outdoors.

Dr. Leslie Locklear
Senior Consultant, Design & Implementation
Dr. Leslie Locklear, a member of the Lumbee, Waccamaw Siouan and Coharie tribes, hails from Hoke County, NC. Leslie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, her Masters in Professional School Counseling, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her doctoral degree in Educational Studies and Cultural Foundations at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Leslie is currently employed at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke as the Program Coordinator for the First Americans Teacher Education (FATE) program and First Americans Educational Leadership (FAEL) program where she trains American Indian teachers and administrators to work in American Indian schools. She also serves as the Co-Chair of the North Carolina Native American Youth Organization (NCNAYO) Adult Advisory Committee.
As a student and educator Leslie’s passions include culturally relevant curriculum, working with American Indian youth councils, college and career counseling, and supporting educators in the classroom.

Bonnie Farries, MA
Senior Consultant, Operations
Bonnie Farries is a highly accomplished and well-respected professional with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. She has held numerous senior leadership positions, including Director of Institutional Planning at Lethbridge College, CAO at the Town of Coaldale, and Chief Operating Officer and Owner at Privatenode LLC. Bonnie also has a Masters in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge.
She is highly sought after for her expertise in strategic planning, policy development, program management, and operational efficiency. Bonnie is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and she firmly believes that strong communities are built from the ground up by committed individuals working together for the common good.
